4 crew to a cabin as well. That's what one of our bar guys told us.

This is Mandy, an American, on youtube. She works on a cruise ship and has uploaded videos of her adventure including this one which shows the crew cabin she stays in. It looks like it is a 2 person cabin.

Other crew cabin tours on various cruise lines.

You also get hours off not days. You work seven days a week while in your contract. You may get 10 hours leave or breaks but you work every day. Some work breakfast, lunch, dinner and midnight buffet.

yeah. They made money as male prostitutes for both sides. Other than that I heard it was a lot like the Navy. Oh and they are married now to each other.

I talked to a girl from Scotlamd and another from South Africa who worked in the spa on a cruise. They were from the "better" countries compared to the Eastern Europeans and South Americans who had the shite jobs.

I asked them about their jobs. The main thing I recall is the Scot said she signed on to "see the world." I started asking her if she had visited certain places in New Orleans, where her ship docked.

She and the other gal had never been further ashore than the Riverwalk Mall where the ship docked. Had never set foot in the French Quarter despite months on the ship.

That's fricking sad. I guess that can happen if your hours off are just a few at a time, at sea, or when you need to sleep.

I worked over a few buffets after drinking beer on the islands

Nothing wrong with those quarters for seeing the "world" for 6 months!"

Good friend was the "youth coordinator" on some Holland America cruises in the Caribbean. He loved it. HAL demographics are older, so he worked around 2 hours a day.

Shore Ex. people do fairly well. You have to deal with a lot of idiots but you get to do a shite load of fun stuff.
