Anyone ever sell stuff on Amazon?

Say I have a 1,000 ties(all exact same) that I got for nothing. I don't want to have to package and mail each as an order rolls in every day or whatever. I'd rather just send it to some fulfillment center and pay for the convenience of not having to deal with everything.

I sold a set of used Harley mufflers on there a few months ago. Selling price was $200 plus $25 freight payable through payapal. Seems like EBay took $20 or so for their cut.

Pretty sure to sell any clothing items on Amazon you need approval now. It's not just like selling a used book, it's a pain in the arse and individuals usually don't get approved.

Amazon charges a storage fee if you use their fulfillment, they charge a set amount per product category, and then take a percentage of the overall sale price. It’s pretty complicated and they make it difficult to research.
In my brief time selling things, I noticed the percent changed based on sale price. I thought that was BS and made it hard to price.

Unless your toes are nice AF you're better off on eBay. Amazon will take almost all of your profit and I'm not even sure you can sell them used on there

Yeah, i'll just find another way to dump the bulk or give it to goodwill, they take about 3.5/each if they sell, and storage fees when they don't. Wouldn't make much, not worth selling small dollar stuff on that site.

Don't give it to goodwill, as they are a crooked company.
Just set up shop at your local walmart and sell them out of your lifted truck. Or the entrance to your trailer park would be just as good.
