Way too many people drive rentals like total jackasses because they don't care since it isn't their car

Purchased a Toyota Corolla that was a rental which had 30,000 miles on it
Darn good car now has 90,000 miles on it and zero issues

If it's a lower-end rental vehicle stay away. If it's something that a grandpa or a Kenny Tarmac would rent, then you should be fine.

Does enterprise come off their list prices at all? I’m also in the market for a used truck.. haven’t given enterprise much thought up to this point.

most truck and large suv rentals are leased vehicles to corporations. They have a very attractive lease program for company vehicles - much better than MFG lease programs

Not exactly a rental, but my wife's car was a loaner vehicle that the dealership let customers use when their car was being worked on. We got a great price 4 years ago, and all we've had to do is keep the oil changed since

Stay away from Nissan rentals. Apparently the recent Nissans sold to rentals companies are junk.
