This isn't for me to brag that I listen to Joe Rogan or whatever some of you idiots accused me of when I started a thread mentioning listening to Rogan. This just blows my mind.

This is in the same episode with the two guys from the Innocence Project, but this guy got convicted in 1984 and got a death sentence for the rape and murder of a nurse.

Through DNA it found that he was innocent, he was acquitted in 2015. 17 months later, he was arrested and put back on death row over a technicality. The DNA information had to be requested by him and it wasn't so although there was the information that showed he was innocent, he is still in jail today.

Here is an article able the case.

Love your Twitter account

I didn’t realize how much you supported the BLM movement though. Thank you for calling out Vitale

That article doesn’t claim he was innocent. His DNA was still found in the dead nurse’s mouth. He just likely had an accomplice.

This the primary charity I donate to. For all you woke, it has the side benefit of disproportionately helping poor people of color, despite the fact that the charity isn't focused on race.

DNA didn’t match h the vaginal swan but matched the oral swab is how I read it. Sounds like the guy is still guilty , but may not be guilty if the vaginal rape charge (which I think is the predicate for the death sentence ).

Yeah, it seems like a lot of the lawyers do pro bono work. Does all the money go towards the cost of the court process?

OweO being an easily manipulated, commie POS is the least surprising thing I will read here today.

I believe IP has salaried attorneys. Nobody should have a problem with the idea of using DNA or other evidence to re-examine convictions, esp since so many convictions are based on eyewitness testimony which is notoriously unreliable although many courts insist on pretending to not know this.

It's got a great rating. Like 90% of the money goes to the actual shite you care about.

If you say it like RO-GAN it sounds like a Japanese movie monster

"Ro-Gan has escaped!! Run for your lives!!"

"Ro-Gan is my friend! Please don't hurt him!"
