I'm truly sorry. There's nothing I can say that would make you feel better. I have personally experienced what it is like. Enjoy every moment you can before she's gone. Me and my wife agreed no presents for each other this year. We spent on the kids and grandkids. We basically get ourselves what we want these days.
Christmas morning I see she got me something....I stuck to the plan. She pouts all day yesterday. After 35 years with her....I should have known this.
