Will be in town this weekend anyways, is it worth checking out? Does it attract a decent crowd?

I thought I read that entry was free, but would like to verify I don't need tickets as well.

I posed the same question to the football board, but figured I'd post here too so someone can call me names and down vote me.

You were correct. You sound like an LSU grad.

It’s a pretty small but decent crowd. Good way to spend a day but we don’t go every year.

Last time I went was probably 10 or so years ago. It was free, there was a decent crowd but not terrible. There were tons of activities outside of the stadium for kids, lots of freebies (koozies, frisbees, cups, etc.). Have your kids bring like a jersey or a ball or something because if you stick around after the scrimmage you can get signatures from some of the players. Walking into Tiger Stadium is always a great experience especially for kids.
