Anyone been to Hog for a cause

At lakefront arena? It says kids get in free. Is it really kid friendly? How’s the crowd? Any suggestions? Plan on taking my daughter next Saturday to Charlie Crockett. Thanks

Yep. Been going for years.
It's kid friendly, and it is a very nice time. Go for the food, stay for the music. It is a food festival first and foremost.
If it rains the days before, expect a sloppy mess.
It's my favorite event in the area, but I will never go again after a big rain. Hence why I haven't bought my ticket yet.
EDIT - Bring folding chairs. If you have the ones with the little small canopy on them, even better. I've gotten quite burnt several times out there.

How old is your daughter?
I would say it is kid friendly, but it is a lot of walking and you are in the sun.

She’s 6. Loves music and has been begging me to take her to a show. She wanted to see widespread panic when they came for jazz fest but I had to work.

It will be a lot of walking for a 6 year old.
