Anyone a Volunteer Firefighter?

Talking to a buddy yesterday and it came up that his grandpaw and dad were with the Davey Crockett firehouse in Gretna and that it was the oldest Volunteer Station in the country. Looked it up, and it is. Anyone on the board do Volunteer in their community. Seems like a good way to give back.

It's a great way to give back, but in my experience, a lot of weirdos are volunteer firefighters.

It seems like every year we have one or two arrested for arson, due to setting fires so they can “be the first on scene” and acquire dat department clout.
