I can second Kratom, even though my doctor doesn't

I don't use it for cognitive benefits, I use it as a relaxant and mood booster. I suppose there is a potential for addiction, as it does work on your opioid receptors, however I'm fine going without it on days I don't use it. I don't find any compulsion like I have to take it, and when I do go without it I notice no withdrawal symptoms. All in all, it's been a great little supplement to take for mood, IMO.

If you're a drinker, I'd start by cutting back on your nightly consumption and getting a good nights sleep. Wake up early and hit the gym to get the endorphins going. Stay hydrated throughout the day. Our brain consists of 80% water.
In other words, do what you can naturally while cutting back on the Vyvanse before you eventually completely give it up.

I take supplements in the morning and at night.
Morning:
Lions Mane Mushroom Powder
L-Theanine
Creatine
Whole food multivitamin (Alive Mens)
Night:
Ashwaghanda (sp?)
5-HTP (give myself breaks though a couple nights a week)
Magnesium
Zinc
This has made me feel much more cognitively sharp and improved mental stamina. Don't get nearly as foggy at the end of the day. Energy levels are better too. The night time routine is just to really help get a deep sleep, which is very impactful on my mind and energy the next day (captain obvious).
I didn't know I wasn't getting good sleep until I bought a sleep tracking exercise watch. This routine (plus a daily 30 minute brisk walk) have really made my sleep improve.
ETA:
I have ADHD, took adderall for years as a youth and through college. It still affects me as a working professional. One trick that really helps me get stuff done when it's time for "heads down" type of work is listening to classical music on my ear buds. No distracting lyrics while also blocking out the outside world. Give that shot.

Alpha Brain is sold at Whole Foods/Sprouts and Onnit.com online. Magic Mind at magic mind.com.

've been taking Alpha Brain for a while but I can't tell it doing anything at all for me. For those that are recommending it, what exactly do you feel it doing for you
Alpha Brain has subtle effects. I am a dentist and I notice that it gives me more focus while doing procedures. I feel more “in the moment” and zoned in on what I am doing especially tedious procedures. Magic Mind has more of an energetic kick to it but is more expensive and can only be ordered online. Both work better in conjunction with morning aerobic exercise. I take them right when I get up on an empty stomach and then hit the Peloton for 30-45 minutes. The exercise seems to turbocharge the effect.

Do these things really work or do they only provide the placebo effect?

Thesis has several blends, and they work pretty well. It is just expensive for what it is. They publish the ingredients in each blend, so you may be able to bulk buy the ingredients and make the blends yourself.

Yes Kraitom is very addictive. I just stopped using the stuff. I love it and it works better than pain meds for me. But the shite is just as hard to get off of than hydros

bullshite, you either dont take it much? Or you dont go more than a day to 3 days without it And if you take powder its gonna take a couple days for you to feel the withdrawals. So if you take it alot go a week without it and get back to me.
