Democrats love to coerce and punish. It’s their historical Modus Operandi. They will pick out an oddball, scapegoat him and murder or imprison him to great applause and self congratulation. Remember, at the time it was celebrated by the media like January 6. Only the passage of time makes Normals reflect on the insanity of it. And of course, since frickface blew up the OKC FBI building, it defacto wiped away this and the Randy Weaver atrocity.

A friend from Waco who know both Koresh and the local sheriff said that if the sheriff had of been tasked with the job instead of ATF, David would have complied easily. Trust had been built between the two already. Feds should have stayed the F away

I agree I think one of the books says the FBI went around the sheriff exactly because of that reason. I think he tried to get involved several times but was rebuked and I am almost positive he was one of people that told them you are going to end up with a bunch of dead women and children.
I also find it very suspicious that David and his team looked at building and thought it was a very defensible case as it was clear the FBI has filed thousands of times into the building etc, but in Final government action the building exploded and all evidence is destroyed, thus they were able to win the civil cases too.
A little bit too convenient to me.

Just finished watching the Waco documentary on Netflix.
