I believe that was CD Warehouse. They mostly sold used cds.

It was. Bought a lot of stuff there too.

It's hard to convey to my kids today how we used to buy entire CDs or Tapes based on liking 1 or 2 songs we'd heard on the radio.

I mention that all the time to mine. Some real gems in those albums that never got airplay.

I remember a buddy of mine and I driving around Mamou during the 90's and a song came on KVPI that we liked. We drove to the radio station and asked the DJ what he just played and he told us it was Billy Thorpe 'Children Of The Sun'. I think he even made a tape of it for us.

ETA: this was back before you could just ask google what a song was

Just randomly creating playlists or skipping through random songs on Spotify, Pandora, etc, loses that.

IDGAF. I'll also put ranch dressing on the fanciest steak in the city. I pay for what I want and consume it how I want.

Although I did listen to A Star Is Born Soundtrack in order today.

Guilty.

Spent many a Saturday morning awaiting for the 10am Ticketmaster computers to open for concert tickets sales !

If you weren’t GA on the floor , a concert wasn’t worth going to.
