Might be moving there next year and looking at which suburbs are the best. Have 2 kids so a great public school district would be awesome

Its actually a pediatrician position at one of the fricking mouses hospitals there. I hate Disney but the wife loves it.

I do love bass fishing though and I’ll be thrilled to be away from Nola and the 90k of catholic school education per child

Where are you going to be working? Reason I ask is you'll want to live close to it.

Orlando traffic sucks. Even with the new "upgrades" it will still be horrible.

So your best bet is to figure out where you'll be working, then find the good neighborhoods around it.

There isn't a lack of upscale places to live around here.

No kidding man.

I grew up in north Louisiana on Toledo bend. I grew up finding Toledo and Sam Rayburn and never thought I’d live anywhere with fishing that good again.

Gonna be in the middle of the best bass fishing in the world

North Orange Area. It’s Advent Health Walt Disney World Pavillion hospital.

I own my own construction business so I’m probably gonna take a year off, get my license in Florida and make some contacts

Hour north near the villages here.

Kids go to charter.

But clermont is nice burb west of Orlando, with what i think are pretty good public schools.

I read your OP, and clermont will be an easy drive to mouse hospital everyday.

Too tourist-y

Clermont
Winter Park
Windermere
Dr Phillips

Those are good spots since you mentioned you have a family.

I lived in the Orlando area for 15 years, between downtown/Kissimmee/Clermont.

Not sure about the schools, but a friend of mine has a vacation home in Clermont I’ve been to a few times and I absolutely love it over there. Awesome little suburb.

If you make a good bit of money, add Celebration to your list.
