I'm directly across the river from you. It's been relentless here. Still coming down.

See that warning for y'all?

Yep. Thanks. I'm on high ground. Have a 100ft drop in elevation behind the house.

If I flood, bring a bible, not a boat.

Staying up late anyway. Boston butt twin packs are $.98lb this week at Audubon Market. I grabbed one. They will hit the smoker around 1am if everything goes well.

Total rain fall is now in the 5" range. Good thing it is fixing to give us a break soon.

SF is predicted a break in about one hour. It's sitting on us at the moment.

By that time, more rain will be coming in from the NW. Cold front time.

Most rain I’ve ever seen in New Roads. Water is on the porch now.

As dry as it has been, there is going to be flooding in town tonight.
Still no break in it.

Never had DTV go out over two hours now. Missed the second half of the game on tv.

This is why I will never have satellite.

It's stopping here for now. Had let the dog out and the water is all the way up to my patio. Never saw that before in 20 years here.

Stay dry my friend. It's slowing here, finally. Gave the dog here a couple benadryl an hour ago. She gets anxious during storms.
