Most skimmers are in gas pumps and ATM machines. Chances are, this is where they got your info.

I had someone buy $400 worth of makeup at Mac with mine. Got the money back in a week or two

Unfortunately yes. Happened a couple of times. Have Chase. Have alerts for transactions over $125. Caught it each time. My money has been refunded to me within 24hrs each time.

You’re an idiot if you use your debit card for anything other than withdrawing cash from an atm.

Had a charge for a small amount in Mexico at a store, than my bank called and asked if I was in Mexico and told them no. They purchased a small amount to see if it worked and then tried to purchase a big screen. The purchase for the big screen was declined and my bank took care of the rest.
