Honestly, not much for water oak, the wood is difficult to dry without checking, and even when dry not easy to work with either.
This thread is the first time I’ve ever heard anyone attempt to consider using a Water Oak for anything productive.
For good reason. They get big, get rotten inside, and fall down onto nearby things.
