Maybe a heat sore. Take your dog to the vet. Damn.

We have a 14 year old lab who is covered with tumors and cysts. They occasionally "pop" and bleed like a stab wound. Get it checked. It's cheaper than cleaning carpet every time.

Before I answer you get this disclaimer: without examining a dog in person nobody could ever correctly diagnose or recommend proper treatment. Anything mentioned is not intended to be a substitute for veterinary care. This dog should see a veterinarian
It has an appearance that is consistent with canine eosinophilic folliculitis and furunculosis. This is a fancy way of saying that is a skin reaction hypersensitivity to an insect bite. Commonly seen in sparsely haired areas due to the fact that the biting insect or arachnid can get to the skin without the hair getting in the way. Dogs commonly develop this b/c they root around in the ground and bushes when they smell somthin nice. It's worth noting that some autoimmune diseases and even skin cancer could look just like this - again, worth seeing a vet for and possibly veterinary dermatology specialist. There are excellent ones at LSU if you need to see them. Here's a link for a little more info:

You're lucky I was drunk when I saw him in my yard. Not a good shot when I'm drunk.

I was expecting to see a picture of some weapon made or employed outside of the United States.
Sore on your dogs nose... sorry I can't help.
