Makes plenty of sense. Liberal shitholes with New Yorkers and Californians moving in. Nola had a major influx of cali and nyc, they are now starting to leave after being enlightened by thugs. Go watch and video of sixth street Austin, looks just like Nola. Sorry to burst your bubble on ATX

I think you are forgetting about one major and obvious difference between NOLA and ATX.

Austin is so far from Nola. Maybe you should get out more instead of basing reality on YouTube videos of one street

Quite literally 9 days ago.

And the night before that I was at a pool overlooking 6th.

Is that your best response? Lol

Nola was the cool city to move to at one point, then Austin, then Nashville and Denver….they all end up the same, trashed

This guy is confusing a short lived interest in NO after Katrina compared to a 30/40 year trend in Austin.

They are not remotely comparable.

Austin adds 2/3 of New Orleans population every 10 years.

Around 2015-2019 there was a pretty large influx of Californians and New Yorkers that came into the uptown area. Tons of out of state plates and every magazine featured some new bozo from those areas claiming they fell in love with the city and post Katrina (yea still like 10 years later) they wanted to be a part of the solution. Now, they all got robbed etc and are fleeing, mostly to Denver lol

It’s very comparable, you are just too dense to understand anything beyond Nola has blacks and Austin is more Hispanics.

Except the people moving to Austin are bringing things with them that they never would have brought to NOLA. You know, like Google. Or Tesla.

You quite clearly don’t know what you’re talking about. Your argument is that they are both “liberal” and therefore will both turn into trash. You ignore every other aspect including geography, state government, economy, demographics, etc.

I’ve lived in both and love them both. You can’t compare Austin to NOLA though.

Austin has, you know, actual jobs for people with careers. New Orleans’ short lived popularity was a gimmick that attracted aimless people who want to wear tutus to festivals. You are so far removed from reality
