Can you run again afterwards or limited to only walking?

My mom got a titanium knee. I have told her that when she passes (hopefully not anytime soon) I want dibs on her knee so I can make a driver out of it. She doesn't think that is funny....

To answer the OP...running will be tough, especially if you are older. My mom has enough trouble walking around on hers, but she didn't rehab it properly either.
