Before doing anything, ask the doctor to give her a test set of contacts to ensure she can wear them and takes proper care of them. Also, monthly contacts should still be removed and cleaned daily to prevent infections.
Just curious. I bought a Pioneer SA-9800 Amp back when I was in the service. Loved it and some how a roommate managed to blow it. Been trying to find somewhere to take it to be fixed. Would love to get it working again.
Thanks, doesn't look like we can make it. We are in the area to attend to business matters. Usually 5PM before we finish.
Can't make it at lunch time. How late does it run?
Really, baby boomers are considered to have been born between the years on 1946 (post WWII) to 1964, so the average age for a boomer is much higher than twenty-something when the 401K started in 1978.

Again, like stated, 401K was not understood for at least a decade. Also, jobs back then offered retirement programs so there wasn't the need to get a 401K and truthfully, no one really thought that Social Security was going to fail at that time.
I played for about 20 years and had to stop for about the same amount of time due to necessity. I currently have a 1973 King Silver Flair, bought for me by my parents. Wanted a MF3 but was excited that they splurged for the Silver Flair. I started with a 7C Bach like most, moved to a 10 1/2 C Bach, then a Schilke 14A4A. Have bought about a dozen more different types, including Jet Tone, Wedge, heavy weights. Realized it really doesn't make a difference except in extreme situations to me. Just got a Yamaha Silent Brass System and looking forward to trying it out, but will either have to get my trumpet overhauled due to the flood or get another one in the mean time.

Just trying to figure the best and quickest way, besides just doing it, to get back into be able to play for hours every day.

The best place to buy good furniture at a cheap price is a flea market - you may want to look around at different ones as they vary. One problem is you have to keep checking back as it isn't a retail store. So they don't have consistent stock. But you can get much better deals through them.

You can also check Estate Sales. You will need to get there early and they are picked through by people doing the same thing or by Flea Market sellers.

Not that big of a deal. Just have to keep your mouth shut.

re: Car stereo install

Thanks for all the suggestions. I am getting too old to climb around upside down in a car to do the installation myself. So if you know any good installers in the BR area I would appreciate it.

Thanks again!

What's your budget and what type of music do you listen to?

No real budget, have to replace the speakers in the door and in the back as well. Would like to maybe get a under seat subwoofer or two.

I listen to classic rock - Zepplin, Uriah Heep, Yes, Pink Floyd; and jazz.

Car stereo install

Been a long time since I had a car stereo installed, so I took my wife's car to David's and was under impressed compared to previous times. Any recommendations on where to go for a nice selection on car stereos and good installation? Not looking for thumping power, but considering under seat sub woofer.

Security Cameras in the MS area

Posted by jvbailey3 on 2/23/16 at 9:12 am
I have a number of security cameras installed at a business presently in the Jackson MS area. I need to get more cameras installed and some existing ones replaced.
Unfortunately, I am not from the area and have been trying to deal with what I can find. I have had some less than fortunate dealings with contractors there and am looking for a better contractor. Can anyone suggest a good company to deal with that will warranty their work and will honor their warranty?
Has anyone figured out if there is a box available to purchase, rather than having to pay Cox a monthly fee to rent theirs?

Hey Krypto, I was wondering if you know anyone in the Jackson MS area that does good quality work and follow up. Have a commercial property there that needs some cameras added and updated.

So what is the schedule this week for scrimmages?

TIA
Any one have their knees replaced? I have a question.

Can you run again afterwards or limited to only walking?

Damn, I had a table before, but couldn't find enough people interested in going consistently and sharing the cost. Guess I will have to check to see if some other friends will have a spot available.

Thanks for the update.
