Any of you use the my fitness pal app with your Fitbit?

I recently started using the myfitnesspal app and have it sync with my Fitbit. The myfitnesspal app has just about every food you can think of to log. It's a pretty cool app. Anyone here use them both?

I don't have a Fitbit cause I'm not an overweight housewife.
Hope that helps you out

Used MyFitnessPal for years.
It's always a treat to watch people trying to lose or gain weight first track calories and go "wow I never knew I ate that much or not enough"

I don't have a Fitbit but I've been using myfitnesspal. I like it for all the other nutritional trackers like sodium and sugars that are harder to track than calories. After about a month I can already feel benefits from eating cleaner and it's very directly benefited from being able to track it.

My wife does(no pics) and she isn't a fat housewife. They sync together and take into account of how many calories burned through activity, it isn't exact, just a rough estimate. Than subtract that from your food intake for the day. What sets the my fitness pal app apart from the others is the ability to scan upc/bar codes.

I use it on my iphone. I just use is to track macros.
I don't have a Fitbit because I don't really have a need to track steps. If you manage your macros and calories, why would you need to track steps. Cardio is only necessary if you operate at a caloric surplus. Why would you do that if you're trying to lose weight?
I think fitbit is just a gimmick for people who want to wear it because it's trendy, OR for overweight people to help them feel better about themselves. If you're legit fat you need to do more than track steps. You need to change your diet. If you lift and are trying to cut, just operate at a caloric deficit, say 300-500 less calories than maintenance per day for 2-3 months.
I think people will look back 10 years from now and laugh at how people used to walk around tracking "steps."

I love people who have a skewed view of what healthy is (I'm not pretending to be healthy, I eat like crap). But people are so worried about body image, when the fact that most people can't run a 5k is simply laughable. We are so sedentary, peoplr on average can't jog for 30 minutes. We resort to counting steps (basically just not sitting) as physical activity.

This too! In the last 2 months I've gotten enough "points" from my Fitbit for a $75 target gift card!

I only catch fox and cbs on my antenna so if it's on one of those channels I'm sure I'll watch a little.

I'm not sure what this is supposed to mean.
You're conflating two issues here. Cardio is not necessary to lose weight. Tell me why that's wrong.
Cardio is good for a healthy heart, but it's not necessary. Tell me why that's wrong.
