Barite is a poorly soluble mineral.
It can be formed as an evaporite or out of concentrated solutions, however it is one of the last minerals to form.
One of the first is salt (anhydrite)...go figure!

I just happened to take possession of 2000 gallons of No. 6 fuel oil... maybe we could work out a trade?

I have killed 178 lbs of meat, but can only take 6 lbs back with me to the wagon.

Be honest.
How excited were you when you saw this thread topic pop up?

Interesting you mention D6. I've began brokering D6, JP54 and Barite just a few months ago. What did you pay per barrel for the D6 if you don't mind the intrusion?

Nothing... it was "residue" so I'm actually going to charge them to dispose of it.

Not at all actually. South American and vetted mine.

Did you hire that Indian to help you cross the river? I'd like some references on him before I make my decision on whether or not I'm gonna try to ford it myself.

So what's this fuel oil worth... bout $1/gal?

Depends on port of sale honestly. I'm looking to buy/dip D6 in Houston and selling Barite. My biggest need is in buying D6 in bulk (25K Bbls) per month. Cost can go low with that type of commitment.
