When you enter the studio, take a minute and make sure to scope out the room as to where the hot girls are then position your mat for the best viewing angle...preferably from behind or a good view from the mirrors.

Let me give you some advice from experience. Find the hottest chick in the class and roll your mat out just behind her but to the right or left. Directly behind her will be creepy plus when you do side stretches you get nice views of her arse.

The first time is gonna be pretty tough, you might just want to go watch a class. Maybe record it with your phone. Lots of people do this so it won't be weird.

Relax and stretch for a few minutes beforehand.
The hardest part of yoga is to control your breathing throughout the routine.
I've been practicing for a few years now and I can do some pretty sick moves. It just takes time.
Good luck and namaste

Find a friend or family member who has the P90X 3 DVD set and ask to borrow it. The have a 30 minute yoga routine on there that you can do daily and will see results in couple weeks as far as flexibility goes. Or just buy it, it's not that expensive on Amazon and has some decent 30 minute workouts.

I always start with rolling my neck to start loosening it up.
Then, I do a forward bend (standing up, legs locked) to get my hamstrings nice and loose. I make my nose touch my kneecaps.
Slowly come up. Do a couple of twists.
Stetch your arms anyway you like. Heck, just reach up.
You're ready to go.
Start in downward dog, really feel it. Then raise your right leg as high as you can behind you. Get those toes as high as you can. Then go to Warrior 1.
Other side, repeat. Then you can go to Warrior 2 and 3.
Just have fun AND BREATHE. My routine lasts about an hour. Try 30 minutes.
Maybe see if there is a good DVD online.

No clue if these are any good, but if you have Amazon Prime, they look like they have quite a few beginners yoga videos LINK
