If you do NOT continue to lift weights (HEAVY), particularly compound lifts targeting multiple large muscle groups (Deadlifts, Squats, Overhead Press) after the age of 40, and even into your late 30s for some people, you WILL almost certainly begin suffering from low testosterone, ED, weight gain, and loss of muscle mass. There are a few genetic freaks for which this may not apply, but generally speaking, that's the deal. Add in eating even mildly healthy, drinking in moderation, no tobacco/drug use, and 90% of the physical ailments that men typically have to deal with moving into middle age will be completely alleviated

I’d rather be 20 pounds overweight tbh

Were you active growing up? When you left college? Hit the workforce?

The folks I know that maintained activity throughout their lives seem to never seem to deal with this.

Right on. Most docs are idiots when it comes to testosterone replacement therapy. Can’t tell you how many scripts I see for 200mg every 2 two weeks, or 100 mg every week.

Much better to do it every 3-4 days to keep your levels stable.

I mean you wouldn’t give a diabetic a short acting insulin only to use once a day. Their levels will crash, just like testosterone when you come towards the end of the 2 weeks

I wonder who the goofball that downvoted you. It proven ever 3-4 days is right. Some go even EOD (every other day). It's proven that after 4 days your injection is gone. Less of a roller coaster to do less more often.

I wish they would post why they downvoted. I'd like to hear the reasoning.

Its not expensive to get lab tests.

Get your dhea tested too.

Ask td for an md in your area who supervises testosterone therapy.

I take both dhea and a generic gel.

I had to get dhea up to normal before starting the gel.

I felt better immediately.

If you are not sleeping well get that dealt with.

You need sleep, exercise, and good nutrition from now on.

Do an exercise where you bend at waist. You'll sleep better.

Famous one is to go down to rug from standing without using hands.
Now get up with no hands.
Couple a day and youll sleep better.

You will want to get prostate checked too.

Three zones on graph paper. You cant take T if you are in or near high zone.
Or else cancer more likely.
