We had that. They finally came upon a computer fix. Have my had the issue for at least 2 years. New ones don't have the issue.
I hate CVTs. Too smooth, if that makes sense. My Q50 has a regular automatic. Much preferable.

The qx60 and qx 80s are far superior in every way.

Glad to know they found a fix. It was a real problem for early and mid- teens Nissan Pathfinders and Infiniti QX60s. If you are buying used, take a lengthy test drive to see if there is judder.
Same as you, Q50 with 7 (or 8) speed transmission is an awesome car, paired with with the 3.0 liter twin turbo.

Mine is a 2014. 3.7 litre screamer with 328 hp.
I never worry about having enough power to make a pass. Damned thing will pin your head back.

From past experience, go from a stop at 75 percent throttle. If the judder is there, you'll know quick.
