I will praise the day, I no longer have to take Country Drive to and from work and can pass on the new Company Canal Bridge.

It is not really an issue some days but if you hit school traffic or the 5 pm rush Country Drive can back up past the Bourg Supermarket.

Not to mention that road is barely wide enough for 2 lanes of traffic and when you happen to have an 18 wheeler try to take the parish road instead of the official DOTD detour you are almost in the edge of the road that drops off because the parish isn’t grading the gravel shoulder to level it with the road.

Nasty dusted crawfish in sure.
