Remember in the 90's and 00's you'd see those violent protests on TV for WTO conventions? At the time they were called anarchists.
Today, those same people have found themselves going after far-right and white supremacists. There's no ANTIFA leadership, no meetings, no organization...it's just a group of random people or small groups who show up ready to tear shite up. They're the equivalent of White Nationalists/skinheads on the right. Sure, we might call all white supremacist groups "skinheads", but not a one of them belongs to a group called "skinheads".
What's funny to me is that this whole "ANTIFA" thing was unheard of to most people until the right wing media had to counter the Richard Spencer and Charlottesville debacles so, voila, ANTIFA became plastered all over Fox News, Daily Mail, radio programs, Breitbart, etc. It's a boogieman sensationalized by the media to create one more thing to further divide us as a country.
