I'm glad to hear you have some of the same nerdy type interests as I do! :) Yeah I love Harry Potter (though I will admit I still haven't read the new book), Marvel/DC, Star Trek, Star Wars, Firefly, Babylon 5, etc.. Really I think I could get into almost anything fantasy or sci-fi. Heck I even saw the new Power Rangers movie over the weekend and amazingly enough they didn't destroy that part of my childhood, lol. I went in with low expectations but it was actually an enjoyable movie if you haven't seen it yet.

I can definitely teach you all I know about sports! I don't require you to love sports as long as you don't absolutely hate them, lol. I love watching football and basketball and to a lesser extent nascar, tennis and golf. I have even started getting into soccer more and do try to watch some of the (deleted) games. The movies can definitely leave a distorted version of sports. Are there any that you have watched, even if it's only been a few times?

I definitely understand about people on here not wanting to get to know you. Heck earlier today before sending you a message I get a generic "hey there" from a woman. I look at it and then at her profile which revealed very little about her. Again it's like "what am I supposed to do with that?" I figured it's either a bot or like you mentioned just hooking up. Maybe 10 years ago I would consider that, but now that's just so shallow to me, I actually want a relationship. I do actually want to get to know a person. So I'm glad to meet someone else on here who is actually serious about that as well!

That is all great information to know about the cruise lines. I know my parents really only want to do DCL. I've heard the same thing to, that DCL is the best and NCL is the next best. I doubt I would do RCL or Carnival, I've heard bad things about both, especially Carnival. I'd love to do the DCL cruise up to Alaska, it looks like such a beautiful place. For me travel wise last year I went back up to West Virginia for some hiking and see old places I hadn't been to in years. I also went to Philly for the first time in October. Went to New Orleans, one of my favorite places for a quick weekend trip in early February. Going back to 2015 I took two west coast trips, one out to Oregon where I saw Portland, the coast line, the Hood River valley and Mount Hood. My parents and I also went out to Hawaii in 2015. Those are the most recent trips I have been on. Not nearly as impressive as you I know but it's what I've got, lol.
