Annual cost of living raise

Does your employer offer this and is it a direct reflection of the social security cost of living increase or is it a flat rate?
National oil bargaining between the unions and major oil companies agreed on an 11% wage increase over three years (3.5%, 3.5%, 4%) for all Union Oil facilities and most of the non-union facilities will match to keep workers from unionizing.
Yearly Cost of Living increase since 2010:
January 2010 -- 0.0%
January 2011 -- 0.0%
January 2012 -- 3.6%
January 2013 -- 1.7%
January 2014 -- 1.5%
January 2015 -- 1.7%
January 2016 -- 0.0%
January 2017 -- 0.3%
January 2018 -- 2.0%
January 2019 -- 2.8%

You don't have to be in a union to get that increase.
What's nice is that you can get more. Whereas, union workers are stuck with those bargained increases.
And we get bonuses on top of that.

I work in the oil field (non-union) and the past few years have only been 2-3% increases because "profits are down". Which still implies profit...

I've gotten a 2% every year except one year (1%).
Its bullshite though because Nashville's COL is rising much faster than that.

We’re union at my facility with some union and non-union sister facilities. We all get the contract raises yearly but the non-union facilities make a dollar more to prevent them from unionizing or leaving for a union facility.
We also all get bonuses regardless of union/non-union salary or hourly. Usually somewhere around 10% of our base salary.
