God reportedly told a man to enter a stranger's house where he needed to charge a cell phone Wednesday night.
According to an arrest affidavit, William Chase Truelove, age 27, initially told deputies he was Jesus and is now facing charges of simple burglary and resisting an officer for failure to comply with commands.
A deputy with a K-9 officer was dispatched to Avant Road regarding a burglary in progress. After several commands for the suspect to exit the residence failed to yield a response, deputies searched the home and spotted a closed bedroom door.
Deputies released the K-9 officer after forcing the door, which had a desk blocking it, open. The dog alerted on a closet door, and the suspect, identified as Truelove, was told to exit.
The suspect would not comply, and the dog reportedly bit Truelove. After the bite, Truelove still resisted and would not show deputies his hands, per the report. A stun gun was used to gain compliance.
Truelove reportedly told officers he was actually Jesus, and God told him to go the home. He said he needed to have somewhere to sleep and charge his cell phone.
Truelove was treated at a local hospital before being booked into Ouachita Correctional. Center. Total bail has not been set.

Jesus wouldn’t be riding a donkey and certainly wouldn’t stay in a Motel 6. Keep an open mind people. Open your homes to Jesus. He needs to charge his cell. Dang you Apple!

White privilege rearing its ugly head again.

I will be honest, I would love to be a K-9 officer. Someone starts running away, just let the dog loose. And watch.

Actually, they should have just shot him and waited to see what happened on the third day after.
