For pics not so much. Not a big photo taker. To get in the fricking phone, hell yes it does. Makes checking your phone while taking a piss difficult

Views that he has a constitutional right to hold. That doesn't not mean he deserves to be choked out by a border agent. And it certainly doesn't prove your claim he did something to provoke the agent.

No, they don't.

What are they going to do? Hold me indefinitely until I give them my password?

Good luck. Mine has a alphanumeric password 15+ characters long, touch to unlock disabled and wipes after 10 tries (or remotely- takes one outbound text).

The constitution's validity doesn't rely on a particular citizen's belief in it

They'll just break into it after seizing it then use every inch of the phone against you.

Any suspicious bank transactions, texts, social media posts, voicemails, phone calls, photos, notes, emails, web history, political leanings...

In the words of Stalin's #2 guy...

"Show me the man and I will find you his crime"

Tell you what- why don't you post your social security #, real name, address and occupation for us, also any relevant bank accounts and credit card #s you frequently use.

It's our job as the collective OT to make sure you're not a danger to yourself.

If you have nothing to hide this won't cause you any trouble. You can trust us.

I find myself looking for missing information when any side somehow finds a story that perfectly fits their narrative. It reminds me of the video of the woman freaking out because some bad Trump supporter chased her down until she found a cop. Cop says well he said you stopped your car threatened him and his property and ran off a slew of expletives and obscene gestures in front of his kids. She gets a warning for being a public nuisance then goes on a rant about men, Trump, and how because she's a 120# woman the threats have no bearing to why she was "harassed".

TL/DR: if a one sided story fits a person's narrative and global outlook to a T, chances are they only told half the story.

You implied it.

We could wrangle everyone up and put them in camps and it would surely catch some criminals. What's the harm? Quite a slippery slope you're trying to go out on.

There it is. The old "you got something to hide?" argument.
