I know Amazon is massive, but they can't be willing to just eat the costs of their shitty employees forever. As I said in the other thread, I believe Bezos is about to come in and gut AMZL and start over. They can't sustain this if they truly hope for it to be a cheaper, more efficient delivery alternative to USPS/UPS/FedEx.

The keep dropping packages at the neighboring complex and just leaving. They aren’t checking addresses or apt numbers at all. Thankfully, they run them over to us.
Check with all your neighbors. I think I preferred usps

see it all the time, i hate when they do that BS, its just to avoid listing it as a late delivery, you will get it tomorrow in most cases

USPS catches a lot of shite, but I find them to be pretty good and their employees are always very friendly.
They always deliver my packages to the correct address and usually ahead of schedule. I can't complain about them. I think shitting on USPS whether they deserve it or not is just a popular online activity.

No, never had anything stolen from the porch before. The reason I was leaning towards this is that it was a holiday weekend and we were out of town, and I figured people might ride around the day after Black Friday looking for packages to steal. Amazon showed it as delivered at noon, my mother stopped by at 2 to feed our dogs and there was no package of diapers, but there was a package with our Christmas cards

The regular mail lady is fantastic.
All her substitutes suck and like to send the office mail back as invalid address bc they can’t find it. You have to go past the office to get to the rest of the complex. I’ve had several packages lost

Sometimes they bring it to the post office and hand it to them.
Has happened to me a few times. USPS then delivered a couple days later.

I just get all amazon packages sent to my office to avoid this shite. It just seems package hunters have become way to commonplace now so why even have the risk.

Everybody with the option to do this should take advantage of it.

I love doing this.
I had my wife's engagement ring shipped across state lines to avoid state sales tax from a place in BR (

I hovered there all day, but just told them "its really important". They all cracked up when I opened it and showed them the ring.

Yes. I received the package 2 days later with no explanation.
