I sell on eBay and the tax is collected by ebay. We don't get any of it and we have to pay extra tax on income made from the sales. Talk about the government double dipping on our money!!!

Wasn't sure when it started. Just got smacked myself on some purchases.

Are you sure it's 2% off the sales amount (net of 8% tax paid) and not 2% of the 10%?
I file sales taxes for Alabama and I get the rebate for early filing and I WISH it was 2% of the sales!
Maybe Amazon has a deal with the them that I don't get???
