If your habit is social then avoid smokers for awhile and if you have close friends who smoke just tell them you aren't going to be around them smoking until you break it.

Swim, run and bike. You'll be sick of cigs in no time.

1. Throw the cigarettes.

2. Never touch them again.

That is how my dad quit. Just like that. 20 year smoker and he just up and said I am done, and that was that.
