I saw Poison in Monroe and Shreveport in 1990 and 1991. Hair Metal or as we called it, Heavy Metal, was back in the days when groups could actually sell out arenas and stadiums? It was also called Arena Rock!

Yeah the "hair metal" and glam bands of the 80's wore makeup and stole some women's fashion, but these dudes were not beta. That actually has nothing to do with being beta.
They were sought after by women, worshipped by men, and basically ruled an era. They rolled on Harley's, drove fast cars, and didn't apologize for being heathens. They didn't give a shite. No beta's can say that.
Comparing them to the skinny jean, scarf wearing, laptop wielding youth today, who apologize to the world for everything that mildly offends, is just ridiculousness.
