are you under the impression that travel ball kids dont play more than one sport? Because for most....thats not true unless the kid chooses not to.
Not true at all..Travel baseball is all freaking year long 3-5 days a week. There is no other options, your life and your kid's life belong to travel ball. It sucks royaly.

If you are playing on a competitive travel ball team, I dont see how you have time to play rec ball too. Or why you would even want to.
Most of the travel ball stuff takes place during the weekends, rec ball is during the week...
These kids are still developing... I guess the more you play the more you get to face different kids, you'll only improve. Besides rec ball only cost 45 bucks..

Sounds like the kid that didn’t make the high school team living vicariously through his child.... another future daddy ball burn out in the making...

I’m trying to be on your side here but are your drunk? I can’t understNd half the shite you’re saying either.
I’m guessing you’re just complaining that an AllStar game was being played and it was a close game and a tourney ball kid didn’t come through and you’re upset about it trying to figure out why kids play tourney ball if they can’t come through playing AllStar rec ball?

Didn't even see my family yesterday for Father's day. His team won the tournament so they left at 6:45 am and they got back at 7:30 PM. Was there all day Saturday and decided to stay home to get things done before work week started. It is a source of contention in my household for sure.

So why don’t you pull him out?

The coaches and parents are way into it more than the kids. I am in year three of this shite and speak from personal experience. They didn't even get excited that they won the tournament last year. The kids talk more about fishing that playing the games.

Contention is with the wife, she is into it 110%.

Three years of being miserable. Seems like your kid hates it so much that he/you just keep going back to it.

This is fricked up. If my kid wasn't into it then he would not be involved.

Da Truth! Braden/Braxton didn’t drive in the runner on third so they could travel another week in all Star ball.

I believe the kid likes it, but way more superficial that his mother and the coaches and other parents. He probably would balk a bit if we pulled him but if he had other options, it would be very short lived.
