Again, since the inception of this country, while lives have mattered more than black lives. They aren't saying white lives don't matter and it's not meant to be divisive. Are there some of this group that want it to be? Sure. But, saying black live matter does not in turn mean that white lives don't matter, but it's time we focus on black lives mattering, because they haven't and still don't as much as white lives. That is their point. If that's being divisive, we're just going to have to agree to disagree because I don't know what else to tell you.

Just 57 years ago, black people were being beaten in the streets and sprayed with water cannons and having police dogs attack them for peacefully protesting for civil rights. It took two more years to pass the 15th Amendment which guaranteed them the right to vote, one of the most basic rights any American has. Do you really think that in that time frame, we've come full circle as a country? I sure as hell don't.

White lives have always mattered in the country. Black lives have not. It's time to face that ugly truth and focus on doing what we need to do so that they matter just as much as white lives do.
