If you were going to list the couple of reasons that figured most heavily into this decision, what would they be? Lack of evidence? The unwillingness of law enforcement to show how they get stuff done? Complicity in crimes?

My best guess is this started with the Feds trying to build a case against the Bandidos. They used the Cossacks to try and implicate the Bandidos on various crimes. That’s why the Feds set up the confrontation at Twin Peaks. But it got out of control from the moment it started and nine people ended up dead, including innocent bystanders shot by cops. Everything that came after, including arresting and charging over 170 people was all about covering up what had been a government clusterfrick.
