The German concept in law makes explicit that speech cannot violate what the German Constitution outlines as 'Basic Rights,' with human dignity being primary. They've been remarkably consistent about this, but I again suspect you don't want a primer on why the German post-war constitution elevated human dignity as inviolable.

Jones definitely didn't help himself. He's not getting charged with a crime, its a lawsuit.
The entirety of opinion media is a travesty. Its always been, but was once confined to two pages of the newspaper. Now its mainstream and the primary source of information for most people. shite, a comedy show was the primary source of news for the younger crowd just a few years ago.
