Theoretical experts, never afraid to voice their strong and incorrect opinion on social media for the world to see.

Knowledge and experience are kind of important if you want to be right.

Are you a scientist, doctor, or anything close to these? I mean what background are you coming in with?

LINK

I certainly trust those people far more than you. People like the AMA

quote:

Alcoholism is a progressive and terminal disease if no intervention occurs. It is clear that alcoholism fits the definition of a disease, and there is additional supportive evidence of this concept based on recent research and literature.

You know what else with progressively kill you if you drink it everyday.....mothballs. That's right, if you eat mothballs everyday, eating more and more everyday you will die form liver damage. Of course drinking everyday will eventually kill you lol, that's not a disease though, it's the alcohol. You don't die from being an addict, you die from over use of a substance correct?

I like this side opposed to the side that thinks so lowly of themselves they blame their lack of self care and discipline on a "disease"

Listen, I know you have your little links and stuff but I think the argument is if addiction should be classified as a disease in the sense that people's jobs are protected and insurance has to pay for all the destruction you do to yourself. If it's hard to not drink, that sucks but it doesn't mean you get to crutch around on that.

Just cause you experience something doesn't make you an expert either. Just an experienced a-hole.

The leading scientists in the world at one time thought the earth was flat........so unless you present real facts that prove one way or another, it seems to be an opinion topic to me. You must have taken off extensively from your job during your drunk years huh. Bet your coworkers loved that drunk POS getting to take off and leave them with his job.
