good Lord. As the host you have the ability to decline a reservation request right? I'm not saying to go full on 100% in that direction, but man if I was in your shoes it'd sure be tempting to try to weed out that kind of renter.
Im also a host. What he said absolutely happens. You cannot see guests pictures before booking and you will be penalized for just declining bookings without reason.
I just keep my prices high and keep a 2 night minimum

Can you see the renters profile picture or ratings from previous stays? Just curious.
We had an unwritten rule on our street in Bay St Louis that no did short term rentals. One person started doing it and now there are three. Only one has had a problem that I am aware of. Let's just say it involved very loud rap music, way more people than were suppose to be there, and twerking in the street. Cops ended it with the quickness and the host was able to kick them out for violating the no party policy.

What’s worse about Airbnb customer service is that they will talk to you and use tone or language showing that they really care about your concerns. In reality they can’t do shite and they don’t give a shite. Just another fricking corporation reading a script. That was my experience.

You cant see their profile picture but can see their first name and previous reviews. Its imperative that you read reviews on guests before accepting. A lot of times they wont have any reviews. If they dont, I ask them why they are in town. Ive learned its best to do whatever possible to weed out bad guests.
In general, black folks will be good guests if they are single black dudes staying alone for some professional trip, military, firefighter/police, etc or sometimes they just have lots of 5 star reviews and that generally means they are good renters. Recently had a black dude book for a few days. He was in town for Fire College. House looked like nobody had stayed there. There are black folks on that spectrum as well. They will leave the house spotless almost as if they are trying to make up for bad black guests. I love those people.
If they have no reviews or less than 5 star reviews, are locals booking for visiting family, single women on girls trip, ask about having a family get-together or "a few friends meeting" or anything like that...your house is gonna be trashed
You also have to be careful for Karens. If you have a "professional" middle aged white lady traveling alone, be ready for messages right away about any little thing she sees that she doesnt like. It literally could be leaves that have blown on the porch in the time between me sweeping it and her checking in(true story).
