African immigrants earn 30% more than African Americans, how do they avoid racism?

I thought it could be because they're all educated professionals or something, but most are employed in trade type jobs that anybody could do.... That is if they wanted to work.

Culture.
The culture of African immigrants is high work ethic, nuclear family, and pride in the things you own.
The culture of African Americans is... well... different. And that leads to poverty, crime, rinse, repeat. But we’re not ready to have that conversation.
ETA: Racism in 2021 pretty much doesn’t exist. There aren’t many people in the Information Age that truly believe someone’s skin tone matters. However, culturism is alive and well, and it should be. The color of one’s skin is irrelevant. It’s the culture that is destructive, should be criticized, and fought against.

Foreign born could just have higher education or better work ethic than people born here.
Would really have to see how their pay compares to others within the same field.
Also, it wouldn't be surprising to see foreign born whites making more than whites born in America.
Likely if you are leaving your country to seek employment you are probably driven and willing to work harder. Regardless of color.

The African immigrants still view America as the "Land of Opportunity". They haven't been brainwashed into the now popular "Land of Oppression" bit yet.

I remember a conversation similar to this when I was in Africa. Many Africans are leery of West Africans- Nigerians in particular. Southern/Central/and Eastern Africans don't have much respect for Western Africans. There's a world of difference, for example, between the culture of an Ethiopian or a Kenyan and someone from Sierra Leone. Ghana appears to be an outlier to this; Ghanians tend to be very respectful and high-achieving.
Honestly, every Ethiopian and Kenyan I've ever met have been phenomenal people, who have excellent values. The Somalis I've known have been good folks to, believe it or not.

I can't speak for Kenyans but definitely Ethiopians. I conducted business with over 20 and they are very good people. Beautiful women, very intelligent and friendly. Warm honest people.... I didn't get that same "third world" feel from them like you may experience with other immigrants. Very considerate people,

Data would suggest you are correct for Asian, European, Eastern Block, Middle Eastern, African...but not the Western Hemisphere?
Isn't that a little strange? If it's implicit bias and racism why is it not so "black and white"? Seems as though most of the world has no problem in the US...seems only African American, Central American, and Mexicans are those oppressed by.....themselves?
