AEW Wednesday Night Dynamite Thread: Rated R Murder Grandpa Edition

G... are you getting your Netflix subscription ready to watch Raw in January 2025? Maybe on Monday, maybe not... not sure of that yet.
I will be on the road from Friday afternoon through Monday night... meaning I'll likely not be starting the SD/Rampage thread Friday, Royal Rumble thread Saturday, or Raw thread Monday. G or Wishn or Squatch will have to take on that task.
AEW Wednesday Night Dynamite comes from the Enmarket Arena in Savannah, Ga.

We get a face-to-face interview featuring AEW Women's World Champion "Timeless" Toni Storm and her challenger "The Virtuosa" Deonna Purrazzo
The AEW World Trios Championship will be on the line tonight as The Acclaimed & Daddy arse defend against the team that just lost the ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championship to the Bullet Club Gold portion of the Bang, Bang, Scissor Gang... the Mogul Embassy team of Brian Cage & the Gates of Agony (Bishop Kaun & Toa Liona)
Sting & Darby Allin fill us in on how they're going to get the AEW World Tag Team Championship before Sting's retirement match in March
Thunder Rosa is back on Dynamite... taking on the black woman who somehow comes from "straight outta yo momma's kitchen"... Red Velvet
And we never want to see our Best Friends get murked... so turn away as Undisputed Kingdom member Wardlow destroys Trent Beretta tonight

Edge and Christian had the hottest feud in the company, Edge gets screwed two matches in a row and they follow it up by having Edge wrestle a bunch of random nobodies with no story involved. That's some booker of the year material.

ummmm... the plot line has already been told to you... Copeland is working his way back up from the bottom to get back to Christian
Christian vs. Copeland will surely be on the Revolution card in March

I always laugh when Cornette says that Tony is aderalled out, but the way some of this booking starts and stops, goes nowhere, or doesn't make sense does make you wonder.

Alright after a few months I thought I'd give it a fresh look...
How in the heck do you still stomach watching this shite? It's only gotten worse! Sounds/looks like some of the ROH broadcasts from the early 10s. Worse than TNA before the Hogan/Flair/Bischoff crap. Does it get any better or is this reflective of the rest of the show?
I've also given Cornette a break so I can only imagine what he's saying...if he's even watching this anymore.
And yeah....Deonna would benefit from a salad or two. Can't believe Toni is losing her timeless self to her level.

AEW is very hit or miss right now. There's a great match or segment every once in a while mixed in with a lot of crap. They are definitely in a low period. It doesn't help them that WWE is super hot right now so it makes them look even worse.
