AEW Wedensday Night Dynamite: Farewell to Daily's Place Edition

We certainly hope the best for Mercedes Martinez who was legit knocked out cold by Xia Li's kick during last night's NXT show. She was sent to the hopit... sorry... local medical facility to get checked out after getting looked at by WWE medical personnel once they got her to the back.
Former TNA X Division Champion turned WWE producer Sonjay Dutt has left his role in WWE in the hopes of returning to the ring somewhere for the first time in four years after an Achilles injury forced him to end his wrestling days.
If you liked "Shorty G"... then you're going to love Baron Corbin's new upcoming gimmick... Happy Corbin (driver and/or putter may not be necessary).
Last week's Saturday night episode of Dynamite... which aired in a primetime slot of 7 PM instead of late night... helped get the ratings back up a bit... to nearly 650,000 viewers. The 9 PM shows saw roughly around 500,000 viewers or less... so AEW is glad the NBA is mostly finished with TNT now and they're back in their normal slot tonight.
But next week is the return we've all been waiting for... travel!!
So... for the final time of the pandemic era of wrestling... AEW Wednesday Night Dynamite comes from Daily's Place in Jacksonville, Fla. and has a pretty solid card for the last show for the home fans.
First off... Chris Jericho is supposed to be on commentary for at least some of the show... if not all of it
The blood feud between Pinnacle & Inner Circle continues as Sammy Guevara gets to go 1-on-1 with the man who tried to get him kicked out of Inner Circle a number of months ago... MJF
Considering Vickie's tease a while back... this may end up being 1 of the more intriguing segments of the show as Dr. Britt Baker, DMD teams with Rebel (not Reba) against Nyla Rose & Vickie Guerrero... but does Vickie have something up her sleeve... like maybe something you'd get in VEGAs?
Eddie Kingston & his new best friend Penta El Zero Miedo (Moxley becomes a dad and Kingston kicks him right to the curb ) try to earn an AEW Tag Team Championship opportunity by getting the chance to beat the current champs The Young Bucks
And Miro defends the AEW TNT Championship against the progeny of Flyin' Brian... Brian Pillman, Jr. Hope Pillman still has a head after that match ends
Will be glad to see Ms. Hart cheering on Pillman at ringside

Julia had a rather "interesting" image emerge recently from one of her first appearances in her new ring gear. Let's just say camels have rather pronounced feet.

quote:Well I feel dumb for not realizing this is probably it, especially with Andrade paired with Vickie too.

Y’all posting these threads and me checking out Sting and good ole JR, Jericho, etc...I think I’m going to check out a Ppv when things get back totally normal. Haven’t watched an episode of wrestling since junior high, but AEW is interesting.

I'll have to see how it goes. Never thought I'd like the Riddle gimmick in a million years but here we are.

Hey, humans...like me.
I’ll be back and froth between this and the CWS.
The Good Bros. got fired from Impact or was that a WWE reference?

I don't know about a strategy of crippling Darby Allin mentally.

Jericho is one of the greatest ever both in the ring and on the mic. Guy knows how to sell a match, even if it's not his own.

Jungle Boy has already won. He's slamming Anna Jay.
