Is this the Tigah Raga wake thread? sure seems like it

he was entertaining, informative, manipulative, funny, angry, sad, depressing, conniving, scheming, great and terrible all rolled into one mess of a screen name

I would say he will be missed but he was banned from Nov 2015 to Nov 2016 and to be honest I had sort of forgotten about him until he was reinstated. He is certainly a TD HoFer but like most greats of the game he had lost his fastball and been passed up by younger and newer talent.

Most of the terrible things he did that people are talking about in this thread were 6+ years ago. There was a brief time when he and I corresponded offline but I didnt feel any sort of connection to the guy because frankly I didnt know who/what he really was. The downside of being so secretive and protective of your true self is it makes hard to leave a lasting impression.

I thought the guy was my age, recently married, and had youngish kids. Turns out that he had steadfastly adopted facets of his brother's life and taken them as his own. That is beyond fricked up to me and indicates that the guy behind Tigah Rag wasnt just hiding behind a shroud to keep his real identity a secret, he was truly unhappy with himself and created the ultimate alter ego to play with on TD.

If he did it all for fun and whatever I guess I could see it, but he was so malicious and conniving that I dont think it was fun at all. I think he was a really angry dude that used his Tigah Rag persona to entertain and vent his IRL frustrations and direct it at people on the site.

That part of Tigah Rag wont be missed. RIP you crazy bastard, gone but not forgotten

To the Rushing family, I am sorry for your loss. IRL Bryan Rushing seemed like a unique guy many enjoyed to be around.

As for as Tigerrag, he was a complete dick who took things, on the board, to the next level. He was polarizing and if you didn't see eye to eye with him he was like a pitbull. He would lock into you and not let go. Not only was he a hypocrite, there were times when he would say and do things on the board to a degree he appeared to take some type of ownership of the place.

He would be relentless when someone's IRL information was posted on the board yet he was using someone else's IRL information as his own...Was he living vicariously through his younger brother? It appears that way.

They say "a no good son of a bitch never dies in a plane crash" obviously meaning, when someone passes away no one addresses who that person really were. Everyone always becomes someone who was "a really great guy who wouldn't hurt a fly and would do anything for anyone" and maybe that applies to Bryan Rushing, but TigahRag was a complete a-hole.

And this sums it all up...Indeed, it is the case for all of us. As hard as it is to believe, there are some folks on here who don't care for me. There are some in real life who don't like me...They are few and of course, profoundly, insane.

I didn't know the poster, I haven't been around that long. As a newish poster I've learned to read more than I write. I may not have known that in the beginning but I've learned that over the past months.

Having said that I've read almost every post about this guy Rag and it seems like your assessment is fair while remaining respectful in a way.

From an outsider's perspective (remembering though that I've read all y'alls posts) he sounds like he was an unhappy human being unfortunately. Regardless, rest in peace.

Paige, I'm not going to pile on because I like you, but was it worse than you posting about your date at chili's?
