I saw a prominent former LSU/MLB player driving a lifted truck around BR this week.
I laughed a little.

Goodness gracious, some of y’all are worried about the wrong shite! You guys should have the balls to approach these “low T”, compensating gentlemen and let them know there are better ways to use their income. Once y’all extend that life changing advice come back on here and let us all know how that exchange went!

This. If you see an overly jacked up truck, rest assured that idiot is struggling to pay for it.

Big trucks with loud pipes, fast sports cars with loud pipes, fast motorcycles with loud pipes, big fast boats with loud pipes, all driven by adults, and all to get attention, but the need for attention surely doesn’t stop there. It moves to big houses, fancy expensive luxury vehicles, their kids driving expensive shite, and anything and everything that says “Notice Me”
It’s as if for many, our entire existence is contingent on people noticing us, validating our existence, recognizing us as arriving or accomplishing something, seeing us as important people, unique, and noteworthy. Children do this, and so do adults. Many cannot move past this phase. It’s become who they are.

The only vehicles that should have loud exhausts are:
High performance cars such as Mustangs, Challengers, etc
exotic or semi exotics such as Lamborghinis, Ferraris, McLarens, Porches, etc
Any truck or firetruck with 2 cycle Detroit Diesel engines.
Those just sound too awesome not to be loud.

I've been riding motorcycles for 49 years now and that is one of my pet peeves about some riders.
It crosses over from the Harley wanna be badass with the straight pipes to the youngster on a crotch rocket riding humped over like a monkey fricking a coconut.
They seem to think the engine will suffer if they just let it idle while stopped, so they twist the grip and let it rip to annoy those around them.

Yeah. Those monster truck noise makers are so hard with their guts and prematurely receding hairlines. Almost as bad arse as the motorcycle dudes. It’s okay for a five year old to make a lot of
Noise and act silly. It’s another thing when you are an adult. It’s just bad manners.

Well hot damn, since I assume you are the hardest sumbitch on the block, you should be so tough and bold enough to address their bad manners. Alas, you’re no different than the others that come on here and bitch about the behaviors of others and make assumptions of people you otherwise don’t know.
