The economy is still fricked up from the shutdowns and monetary policy of the covid years.

Anyway, ADP isn’t exactly reliable. Their numbers tend to differ dramatically from govt figures released 2 days later.
Well, we aren’t going to get to see the government numbers on Friday because Republicans are incapable of governing. They can tear shite down and take away rights with the best of them, but actual governing?
These dumb motherfrickers are killing the livelihoods, OF ALL PEOPLE, fricking farmers. You can’t even make this shite up. And watch, we’re going to end up bailing the farmers out. Republicans kill agricultural exports, breaking farmers, and then spend borrowed money to keep them afloat. And people vote for this shite. Astounding.

Wouldn't that be seasonal employees with summer ending?
It's seasonally-adjusted.
More likely reason is that inflow tourism to the U.S. from international locales has been hammered this year. Lots of reasons for that, but the U.S. is on track for about 2 million fewer international tourists this year than in 2024.

It's pretty widely accepted that this shut down is the Democrats doing. But keep pushing that propaganda.

What has been torn down?
What rights were taken away? List them.

Funny, you weren't concerned during the 2 recessions we had under Biden. Oh, you don't remember that? You know, when the government changed the definition of recession so that the media didn't have to admit we were in one?

fricking farmers. You can’t even make this shite up.
Explain, logically, the impact of farmers and what you think is to blame. Specific policy would be helpful.

Explain how this happens, intelligently. I'll wait.

BLS reports are. this article based on ADP payroll does not,
quote:
the education and health services sector gained 33,000 positions in the month. Natural resources and mining added 4,000 positions and information gained 3,000.
quote:
Meanwhile, leisure and hospitality lost 19,000 positions while other services shed 16,000. Professional and business services lost 13,000 jobs and financial activities shed 9,000.
Wage growth is a more accurate indicator of economic health.
quote:
Wage growth in September was little changed from last month. People staying in their roles saw their pay climb 4.5% from the prior year, while pay gains for those staying in their jobs slowed to 6.6% from 7.1% in August.
quote:
The ADP data is released before the Labor Department's nonfarm payrolls report, which is due on Friday morning and can differ notably. The government data is expected to show an increase of 50,000 positions, above the 22,000 reported in August.

You still beating this drum despite it being dismantled on the PT Board?
Back-to-back highs: August and September bring in $62.6B in tariff revenue
Trump’s tariffs are bringing in a ‘very significant’ amount of revenue, top analyst says: Roughly $350 billion a year
And, it's forcing other countries to stop screwing us on trade. But you're right, we should continue operating at a loss in perpetuity because you have TDS.

I'm sorry wanting our country to no longer be run by the marxists on the left makes you uncomfortable solely based on the person who is your current President.

And if you are so knowledgeable about economics, then explain your current circumstances?

Following his inauguration in January, Trump made similar claims as he issued multiple executive orders slapping tariffs on merchandise imports from countries near and far.
But the data suggest that US businesses have absorbed most of the tariff costs through July 2025, not foreign sellers.

From your link....
quote:
They found that average retail prices for imported items increased more than average retail prices for domestic items following tariffs imposed on March 4, 2025
quote:
According to Cavallo et al., average retail prices for imported items were just 2 percent higher in August 2025 than in October 2024. By comparison, we calculate that tariff revenue on imported consumer goods as percent of monthly total import value amounted to about 13 percent in July 2025 (figure 1). This indicates that Trump’s tariffs on imported consumer goods were far from completely reflected in retail prices as of August 2025.
quote:
The import price experience for the broad category of consumer goods imports through July 2025 roughly resembles the average retail price experience for imported consumer items reported by Cavallo et al. In other words, neither the prices paid to the sellers nor the prices paid by consumers changed much. Moreover, the general price experience of all five broad product categories through July 2025 is much the same: The maximum price decline has been around 2.5 percent, and most categories’ prices have declined far less.
Oh, you mean just like Bessent was saying? Of course, you know more about economics than Scott Bessant, right Roger; the bus driver?
quote:
The study by Cavallo et al. shows that households are so far bearing only a small part of the tariff burden on consumer goods.
quote:
However, the overall impact on the US Commerce Department’s price index for personal consumption expenditures (PCE) thus far remains limited. As of July 2025, the PCE price index had only increased by around 1.2 percent compared to January 2025. In other words, through the middle of 2025, American consumers were not bearing much of the tariff burden.
It's funny, your article so desperately wants Trumps tariffs to fail, but their data shows the opposite.
