It would be nice if Col Edmonson could tell Obama go frick himself, we aren't changing anything. It worked.

I'll bet you thats the last time you see riot gear, I'll also bet they'll be a LOT fewer arrests. Shits going to hit the fan and BLM people will take advantage of this.

this is in federal court I assume your comment is meant as a joke. On the surface this appears to have very little merit, but then I expect at least some political pressure will exist to not dismiss it outright. I wonder if it was done to simply keep Baton Rouge in the news spotlight.

Now we know who the organizer is of the protest that allowed people to disrupt traffic, cause some stores in the area to close early, and a Brpd officer had some teeth knocked out.

Seems like the city and state needs to put a restraining order on the protesters due to it should be easy to prove they are violent and disruptive to the safety of the citizens of EBRP.

Then the city needs to sue every protester arrested and ask to recoup cost of providing security to the citizens of EBRP.

JBE may pay lip service but he is a big pro police state guy. His whole family is.

We need to let BR break off from NBR and let them become their own city. Then they can have anarchy and police themselves.

So would this mean someone could attack the protesters and cops just watch?

however... can you imagine the impact on moderates/independent voters if JBE or Edmonson said to the press either immediately after the meeting or upon his return to LA said something to the effect of "they're trying to neuter our response to people trying to stir up trouble at peaceful meeting"?

I'd definitely think that would hurt her a bit

All of it was on camera.....the entire time. Break the law = get arrested. Almost every single protestor fought with the cops when they were getting arrested, which is also illegal (but they didn't get charged with it). Pretty simple concepts to understand.

ACLU won a case against Slidell that now allows bums to panhandle, so who knows? These fricksticks are just mad they lost.

The city didn't burn so I'm happy with the response. If they don't want to get harassed by the listed police departments them go up north where they let you protest via burning stuff down

They don't riot in NBR they come into the city to riot.

We could let them have NBR and if they want to burn it down let them if they want no police at protest. When they cross that line into BR then let the BRPD enforce the laws.
