If you can find it, try great raft's commotion. Better than jockamo IMO.
Haven't seen that one. Will keep and eye out.

Seersucker is solid Turbodog is always solid Restoration is one of my favorite "all day drinking" beers Christmas Ale is solid I agree with most all of this. I'm also a fan of fall fest. That said, Jockamo is horrendous and I can't believe anyone willingly drinks it.
How can you like Wrought Iron but hate Jockamo?

I can honestly say Abita is one of the worst breweries I've ever had

You're from Alabama. You think good beer is Pabst, Milwaukee's Best or Schaefer Light.

But to be fair, PBR was the shite in HS

I think her response is probably more because Abita is pretty crappy and there have been a lot of dumbass posts in this thread.

I'll be honest - if I'm looking to drink some local beers I'm ranking them as NOLA, Parish, Bayou Teche, Gnarly Barley (the milk porter is the TITS), Tin Roof. Abita is one of those that I'll drink if I go to a bar and all they offer is the bud/miller/coors variety.
ETA - I will hammer down their seasonal stuff though, the Christmas Ale this year is really good (I have 4 of a sixer in the fridge), the Strawberry is great of course, their Oktoberfest brew was damned good this year.

Amber and Turbodog have their place. 15 years ago beers like that were at the top of their categories. Restoration, PH, and Andygator are middle of the road and I won't drink them unless its my only choice.
Now Jockamo. Jockamo is a bottom tier gutter swill.
Select series is for the most part pretty good stuff, except their PH/Andygator variants.

I tried the Wrought Iron, but it's just a standard IPA - there's no custom flavor to it whatsoever. Usually a brewery will add a twist to it to give it a bit of customization such as what Tin Roof did with the coriander to their brew. Its a big ol bland swing and a miss IMO.
