You should check with your doctor immediately if any of these side effects occur when taking clopidogrel:

- confusion

- change in mental status

- difficulty with speaking

- seizures

- seeing, hearing, or feeling things that are not there

You really need to tell your doctor about your issues.

And those engineers that built the bomb, and the massive undertaking that got us to the Moon - almost all of those folks were people of faith. Don't believe me? Pilots are men of the faith, usually.

Scientists, not so much, usually.

They didn't build it, they flew it. I suspect there were a lot of atheists among the highly rational people who actually built the space vehicles.

Capitalism spurned growth in technology. Technology is like a snowball that just gets bigger as it goes downhill

You need to put your dog on a combination of clopidigrel, warfarin, Xarelto, and enoxaparin.

Nope.

Ben Carson has taught us that it doesn't take a brilliant person to be a brain surgeon.

Rocket scientists, on the other hand...

I think you meant "spawned" rather than "spurned".

True enough, but Aldrin was a world class scientist as well. PhD and invented the modern application known as "space walking".

Care to guess what percentage of the world's leading scientists are religious?

Religion is trending down, worldwide. So, certainly wouldn't apply today. What the OP is suggesting is that those historical facts are somehow distortions. Clearly the men and women responsible for the Age of Reason, Industrial Revolution, Age of Flight, Nuclear Age, Space Age, almost without exception were religious.

quote:

This most beautiful system of the sun, planets, and comets, could only proceed from the counsel and dominion of an intelligent Being. [...] This Being governs all things, not as the soul of the world, but as Lord over all; and on account of his dominion he is wont to be called "Lord God" [pantokrator], or "Universal Ruler". [...] The Supreme God is a Being eternal, infinite, [and] absolutely perfect.

quote:

Opposition to godliness is atheism in profession and idolatry in practice. Atheism is so senseless and odious to mankind that it never had many professors.

Rex is the best poster on this site probably. Dukke V is a close second.

Lucas P is probably third.

Many of them happened to be religious. But their religiousness was obviously not what led to the scientific breakthroughs. People were MUCH more religious before the emergence of modern science and it never brought us to the moon back then. And science today is worlds beyond what it was only 50 years ago, yet the scientists of the world are overwhelmingly non-religious. I also find it laughable that you think Christianity led to the creation of the atomic bomb- Something Jesus certainly wouldn't be fond of
