Raining here now but some idiot thought it was a good idea to go outside and fly a kite apparently in the strong wind not too long before the rain began. Now there is what appears to be a heavier than kite string line down from around the corner maybe a block away across several homes and power lines.
Right before I discovered this the power in the house blinked. It's not bad enough with the wind blowing like crazy idiots have to add o the potential chances of a power outage.

Pretty sure the power lines will survive a kite string. You will no doubt lose sleep over it tonight though when your power goes out.

Say what YOU want but I reported it to Entergy and they just came out to check it out and the guy did indeed say it could possibly cause issues. They will try to get it down and no, I won't be losing sleep here.
